  I shop by the fresh fish counter and smiling and pleasant man immediately comes to help. I decide on Cajun catfish and he smoothly packages it and passes it to me over the counter.

  This Metro store at the south end of Gardiner's Road is one of at least three in the Kingston market from this chain. When you enter this store, your eyes are immediately drawn to the bright colors of flowers, fruit and produce. The produce is further noticeable because of its side-by-side, vertical presentation. Everything looks new and fresh.

  I pass by a large dairy section and then an enormous bakery before I join one of the cashier lines. My Airmiles card is registered, my groceries are registered, I pay with my AMEX card and I'm quickly out of the store and into my car.

  Ahh the Tro, gardiners metro is home, been goin there my whole life, also work there so i cant say anything bad about it. Even if i could i wouldn't, this is the best metro in ontario, goes above and beyond in customer sercice and quality of all in-store prepped food. Definitely recomend checking out the bakery, good crew there, and good cakes. Managent is premium, they will solve all your issues. Overall, go there, get ur geoceries, grab a snack, a cake for the fam, and leave happy. 10/10 would recomend :)

  Nice large clean store with lots of free parking .Store has a very good variety of merchandise but quite expensive. Has excellent meat and butchers and a salad bar and in store bakery

  Metro is always a good place to get seafood and staples. Service is good...staff are friendly and consistent ....and very helpful. I do find that some things are a bit pricey but I can live with that

  I pass by the store butcher who also looks ready to help me or answer any questions. I don't think eat meat but my spouse tells me they are very helpful and do their best to cut what you want.

  We mostly had their Grab and Go and Deli Sandwiches. It was very good!
