I have alot of respect for all the staff at street health kingston. I can only imagine how tough there jobs may be at times when dealing with not only just addicts but all the types of different walks of life that walk thru there doors every day.

My girlfriend had a training program on how to safely inject naloxone into people overdosing from opioid use. She came home to tell me a bunch of information about this training session. As someone who has taken the Primary Care Paramedic program and several first aid courses, I was surprised to hear the unsafe practices they teach for safe injection. There needs to be a lot better method for educating the community on safe injection. The staff apparently lack training of their own.
