  I have been to this location multiple times and continue to be disappointed. Last time we waited over an hour for our food and they said they forgot about our order. Then they said it would be out in the next 20 minutes and covered the cost of food. Recently, visited again and this time I found a disgusting curly hair in my food. It was not hair from your head, it was awful. Once again, they covered the cost of that dish. I was disappointed to have two poor experiences at the same location and finding that curly hair was very gross. I did not want free food, rather I wanted an enjoyable meal without any issues. My boyfriend and I were disappointed and our waitress looked mortified when she saw it.

  Place was recommended for its great burgers and gluten free bun option. Staff was very friendly upon ordering and when we picked up, environment pleasant, but everything was extremely salty. Slightly overpriced for its presentation. Was disappointed but will try again in case it was accidental.

  Had lunch here a couple weeks ago. The food was good, the price was high. The service was efficient and the wait staff was friendly. The tables and seating are awkward to navigate. We watched a women try and get out with her baby in a carrier, she had to move chairs so she would fit through. Would we go here again? Eventually we will, but there are lots of other places in Kingston to try first.

  Food is fine. Service is fast. Seating can be awkward depending on the area, lots of foot traffic around my table. Prices are as expected, you can definitely find better food quantity and quality at other restaurants/bars in the area.

  Took my parents here for their first Jack Astor's experience and we were not disappointed. Having been to a few Jack Astor's locations now, this has by far been the best. The rooftop patio had an incredible atmosphere. We were seated in the sun first which was way too hot on a +30 day, and the staff quickly moved us to a shaded table as soon as one was made available. The food was excellent (as always). My only frustration was that there are limited options for vegans/vegetarians, although they do have the option to swap out your protein for tofu.

  Good experience every time I've gone I will likely return. The nanaimo deep-fried cheesecake sticks were delicious
