  This is a 70s vintage Howard Johnson hotel that shows its age but is clean with friendly staff and a great location. It's relaxing to watch the ferry glide through the ice and I expect that the water side rooms are somewhat quieter than those that face downtown. The buffet breakfast has a meagre selection but is included in the price. Frugal me will stay here again but for special occasions I would look elsewhere.

  Old and very run down. Nice view but needs a big Reno. Parking extra. Should have spent a little more for a better hotel.

  Great place and view for the price. Hidden gem. A little dated but it's being renovated so I look forward to going back

  This hotel is kind of exactly what you would expect. They offer average service at great rates. The staff was friendly but the amenities were slim. The room smelt a little funky and my heating unit made a lot of noise...luckily I like white noise when I sleep. When I go to hotels I like to be able to use the tv as a monitor so I can stream or play games. They use Phillips commercial tv sets which don't allow input switch...which sucks!

  Old rooms, minimal amenities, mediocre breakfast included (toast, hard boiled eggs, luke warm ham, stale hash browns). Rooms overall clean but one day came back to find our toilet stained with specs of red, as if someone had vomited wine. Unclear of source. Underground parking available. Waterfront location. Would recommend reserving a different hotel.
