My favourite place to find used books in Kingston. The upstairs fantasy room is always well stocked, and the prices are very fair. The children's literature section is always fun to browse through as well, lots of classics there. They also like to put the spotlight on local literature in the windows sometimes, which is nice.

Felt I was in heaven! I got three excellent classics books for the price of half a new one!

It was about a year ago or so I decided to check this shop out and I was so excited. Upon my first visit I was very disappointed with the customer service. The gentleman who tended to the front desk was very rude when I had asked if he had a specific book I had in mind. I felt very uncomfortable and decided to leave. It wasn't until this morning I decided to put that negative experience aside and give the shop another chance to redeem itself. I was sadly let down a second time. I asked about the location of a certain author and he blatantly pointed out a location (the general area where I was looking) and offered no help at all. He seemed very standoff Ish when I said hello and inquired about a few things. He clearly wanted nothing to do with me and would rather go about his other work and conversation. I was very hurt. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Sadly although my deep love for literature I will never return to this place! If I could give less than one star I would... such a shame

This cool local shop has a massive selection. I bought my first Noam Chomsky book here because they have the social justice/politics section right up front. I bought No Logo by Naomi Klien too.

Great place to go instead of chapters or indigo.

All over the store there are piles of books on the floor and it makes the place seem loaded with knowledge.
